How to Install id3tool software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

id3tool software package provides Command line editor for id3 tags, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install id3tool

id3tool is installed in your system.

Make ensure the id3tool package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep id3tool *

You will get with id3tool package name, version, architecture and description in a table
